In late 2015, our founder, Kristin Schrumpf, was traveling abroad when she encountered other women who wanted a safe place to discuss their love for Bayern without being harassed or patronized. Thus, the concept for The Red Ladies was solidified, and upon return to the US, the idea came to fruition. With each passing year, more women join our ranks and discover not just a space to converse about FC Bayern, Germany, or football in general, but an enduring sisterhood that stands against all of the pressing issues that currently tarnish the sport.
